Rules
Rules and Regulations:
- Individual Participation: Only individual entries are allowed.
- On-the-Spot Entry: Available
- All RC Tanks are provided by the organizers. Teams are not allowed to use their own tanks to ensure a level playing field.
The Combat System (IR & Counter)
- Weaponry: Each tank is equipped with an IR LED emitter (the "Cannon") and an IR Light Detector (the "Armor").
- Kill Count: Every time a tank is successfully hit by an opponent's IR beam:
- The 7-Segment Display on the tank (or the arena scoreboard) will increment the hit count.
- The hit tank will be temporarily disabled (frozen) for 3 seconds as a penalty.
- Victory Condition: The team with the highest Kill Count at the end of the time limit wins. If a team reaches 5 hits first, they win by "Total Destruction."
- Gameplay Rules:
- Match Duration: Each battle lasts 5 minutes.
- Arena Boundaries: Tanks must stay within the marked "War Zone."
- Technical Timeout: If the IR sensor or 7-segment counter malfunctions, the referee will pause the match for a 2-minute technical check.
Conduct & Disqualification:
- Sensor Blocking: Intentionally covering your tank's IR detector with hands, tape, or obstacles is an immediate disqualification.
